HEART HEALTHY TUNA SALAD

Easy low sodium & low fat spin on tuna salad. Pairs well with salads, sandwiches, & wraps!


INGREDIENTS

  • 4 oz of drained tuna packed in water or light oil

  • 1/4 of a medium avocado, diced

  • 1/4 of a medium cucumber, diced

  • 4 wedges of lemon, squeezed

  • 3 tbsps of cilantro, chopped

  • 3 tsps of dijon mustard

  • 1/3 cup of plain nonfat yogurt

  • 1 oz of Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb seasoning


COOKING METHOD

  1. Drain the tuna thoroughly & place it in a medium mixing bowl.

  2. Add in the avocado, cucumber, & cilantro.

  3. Mix the ingredients together.

  4. Add in the lemon juice, mustard, & yogurt.

  5. Add in the seasoning & stir until well mixed.

  6. Enjoy!
